The Senior Management Team at Maridi Health Sciences Institute comprises seasoned health professionals and educators who bring decades of combined experience in clinical practice, public health, midwifery, ICT, and institutional management.
Under the leadership of the Principal Tutor, the SMT oversees academic quality, student welfare, curriculum development, staff development, and all administrative functions of the institute. Their collective expertise ensures that MHSI continues to produce graduates who are competent, ethical, and ready for the challenges of South Sudan's healthcare system.
The team operates under the strategic direction of the National Ministry of Health and maintains strong partnerships with Amref Health Africa and other stakeholders to advance the mission and vision of the institute.

The SMT ensures all diploma programmes — Clinical Medicine, Public Health, Midwifery, and Nursing — meet national and international quality standards set by the NMoH and Amref Health Africa.
Responsible for the recruitment, supervision, professional development, and performance management of all teaching and administrative staff at MHSI.
The SMT oversees student support services, welfare, discipline, and mentorship — ensuring every student has the resources and guidance to succeed in their training.
Maintaining and growing strategic partnerships with Amref Health Africa, the NMoH, hospitals, NGOs, and donor organisations to support MHSI's sustainability and growth.
Driving the implementation of MHSI's 2023–2030 Strategic Plan, including expansion of programmes, digital learning, infrastructure improvement, and student capacity growth.
Leading the integration of technology in teaching and administration through the VLSC, digital resources, e-learning platforms, and the new MHSI Student Portal.
